Fools are we

Fools are we

We do not need a day or a morning to be fools.

We are fools almost every day.

While the sun shines and the wind blows, we turn our backs on nature’s gifts, instead digging deep into humanity’s savings account to fuel the world.

We say we are brilliant and innovative, and yet we refuse to invest our brilliance collectively in uplifting access to affordable energy for every human on the planet.

Making that dollar is more important.

We elect conmen, pedophiles, men under the spell of the powerful lobby groups, all who care less about the people they represent, while they fatten their bank accounts and property portfolios.

Rather than education and health, we make weapons.

Rather than seeking to understand, to respect differences, we kill people.

We refuse to call a lie a lie, corruption corruption, and global leadership a disgrace. We refuse to name genocide, apartheid and ethnic cleansing.

Here we are. The wealthy and powerful are thriving.

Perhaps the masks are all off, and we, the people, see how we have been conned, spellcast and manipulated. The real terrorists aren’t over there. They occupy our governments.

April 9th 2026 Love Business Love Business If your business, your life, your work is not about love, then never expect it to fill your life with the things you most yearn for. In our ‘go hard’ success-generating world, it is rare that the topic of love is discussed alongside business. Strange, isn’t it, when we think about it? That the spaces we spend the most time in are so far from love? When you were a kid, did you want to spend your days working at something that did not evoke love? Did...

April 8th 2026 Front row seat Front row seat We wonder how men make terrible decisions that do untold damage to millions of people. Yet here we are. A front row seat. Endless television series and documentaries were made about the Second World War. How we arrived there. The choices that were made. The Little Atrocities that were stepped over. (https://syntropic.world/little-atrocities-the-path-from-integrity-to-self-deception-and-bad-business/) But history is only relevant if we learn from...

April 7th 2026 Then our true work in the world begins Then our true work in the world begins No one knows what will happen in the next second. It is in the second that life changes forever. We say yes. Or no. A phone call comes. Someone dies. Someone is born. Something precious breaks. Living on the very edge, the place of unknowing, is a practice. Few people are comfortable in this space. The unknown is so very frightening to many. We plan our days with rigour, ensuring nothing goes bump in...
