It is never too late to become educated

It is never too late to become educated

In Syntropic World we teach the principle of precession. To every action there is a reaction or side effect, at 90 degrees to the action.

Let us consider the genocide in Gaza, perpetrated by Israel, with the overwhelming sanction of the governments of the West.

The direct effects are so horrible, so dehumanising, the extraordinary loss of life, willful and continued destruction of all of the infrastructure, targeted killings of the media and medical personnel.

The precessional effects. A world that is waking up to the history of Israel, built on ethnic cleansing, colonisation and apartheid.

A recent Pew poll demonstrated that a median of 67% of adults across 36 countries have an unfavourable view of Israel. (https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2026/06/04/most-people-across-36-countries-have-negative-views-of-israel-and-little-confidence-in-netanyahu/). This is precession.

One of the founding principles of Syntropic World is to go back to Source. To go to the beginning of the story, the idea, the history.

Questions I have asked in pursuit of this.

What is Zionism, and where did it start? What was its Source Idea?

What is the state of Israel? How did it start? What were the seeds of its Pattern Integrity? (The British have a lot to answer for.)

This has not been a random AI-generated investigation. I have read the works of Omar Bartov, Ilan Pappe, Zachery Foster, Shaul Magid, Naomi Klein, Antony Loewenstein, John Mearsheimer, Molly Crabapple and many more. I have chosen, with purpose, to read the words of Jewish scholars and activists.

Today I learned that Israel has never declared its borders since 1948. This was a deliberate political choice, not an oversight. So when people ask, ” Does Israel have the right to exist, the real answer must be a question: Where is Israel?

It has also had, since 1948, a doctrine of Jewish-only border areas. This doctrine has been openly named, Judaization. In practical terms, this means that the borders of Israel, wherever they choose those borders to be, must be ethnically cleansed of all, except Jews. The problem with this, of course, is that it is endless. New border, new need to ethnically cleanse. It means a permanent state of war. And, of course, it creates, as it should, new rebels fighting for their land and homes, which the West has labelled terrorists. If you loved Star Wars, did you love the Empire or the Rebels? I stand with the rebels. (I also prefer non-violence.) If you came to my home to kick me out of it and bulldoze it to the ground, I would be a rebel immediately. (I say this even knowing I am a direct descendant and winner of colonisation, my actual home is on the land of the indigenous peoples. We know better now to never allow it to happen again. But here we are. It is happening live-streamed.)

The Nation-State Law of Israel was passed on July 19, 2018, with 62 votes to 55. Its key points are:

*Self-determination in Israel is “unique to the Jewish people”, explicitly excluding Arab citizens (20% of the population) from national self-determination

Hebrew is the state language; Arabic is demoted from official language to merely having “special status”

*Jerusalem is declared the “complete and united” capital

*Article 7 — the settlement clause: “The state views the development of Jewish settlement as a national value and will act to encourage and promote its establishment and consolidation”

No mention of equality, democracy, or the rights of non-Jewish citizens anywhere in the text.

Jewish settlements – or, in plain English, the removal of Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese from their homes, the complete destruction of their homes, and the building of Israeli settlements in their place- is considered a national value.

All people have the right to live peacefully and safely, including Jews. No one has the right to impose their rights to safety and homes at the cost of others’ rights. Israel and its big daddy backer, the USA, are rogue states, led by corruption and cruelty of the highest order.

The precessional effects of the last two years are a world that has woken up to the truth. The genie will not go back into the bottle.

PS. Thank you to Molly Crabapple for your beautiful book, Here Where We Live Is Our Country, about the Jewish Bund movement as the antidote to Zionism.

June 11th 2026 7 months old 7 months old Sam Abu Haikal 7 months old. Shot in the head. In the West Bank. Sam Harris, a man of immense privilege, writes that if the Palestinians had put down their weapons in 1948, and today, now, everything would be peaceful. I would like to see how peaceful Sam Harris would remain, even with his meditation practise and bank account, if a group of people came and forcefully took his home, and the homes of his family and friends, bulldozed it, bused everyone...

June 10th 2026 I love you too much to let you stay broken I love you too much to let you stay broken 25 years ago, I created a program called Dare to Care – How to speak the radical truth with compassion. The point was that if we care enough about someone, we will tell them the radical truth, ideally in a way that does not demean, belittle, shame or ridicule. We often confuse love with being nice. Love is courage. Love is wanting for the other great things, including being the most beautiful...

June 9th 2026 Standing even against relentless criticism Standing even against relentless criticism Almost every human I have met has before them the choice between the path that calls to them but is filled with uncertainty, risk, and exposure, and the safe path. We are faced with this choice every single day in one form or another. When we take the risky, exposing path, then we face everything that we fear. This includes shame, failure, rejection, ridicule and isolation. Our world is full of...
