Why is this idea so hated by so many?

Why is this idea so hated by so many?

“Live in the future, then build what’s missing.” Paul Graham

This is the same Paul Graham who built Y Combinator in Silicon Valley and is still regarded as a godlike figure amongst the tech bros. Those handful of men who literally control the keys to everything. Every piece of data, all the tech, the digital infrastructure, what the algorithm does. If one of these men, fanboys of facsim, decides to reduce one part of the world to economic and access rubble, they simply need to turn off the switch. At a whim.

This is more power than a nuclear bomb. Exponentially more so. Every country on the planet is caught in this spider’s web. Not Donald Trump and his mafia family, simple puppets dancing to the marionette’s tune. Not the red button with the nuclear codes. No. The tech lords. These white supremacist eugenicists have the power because we and our governments have given them the keys.

To answer Paul Graham’s question in a way that actually ensures we preserve life on Earth, then Paul Graham and his ilk need to be reduced in power exponentially. The big companies need to be broken apart. Technology needs to be there to serve people, planet, humanity. Not to serve the less than 1%. No more monopoly.

If we live in the future, then the Yang-based Molochian system of domination, male supremacy, an economy built on the absolute requirement for endless growth in order to simply survive, must be completely dismantled. This is a massive disruption.

However, we are in a massive disruption now. There is no argument about the cascading harmful effects of climate change. We are cooked. The military-industrial complex bloats, and endless war profits. People are being bent over backwards just to survive. As the rich grow obscenely richer.

The future will require a strong swing to Yin-based systems as a counterfoil to the thousands of years of living in a patriarchy. This will piss off the trad blokes endlessly.

All of life will be seen as sacred. Why is this idea so hated by so many? There will be an immediate halt to companies that profit from destruction, exploitation, extraction, extinction and colonisation.

The military-industrial complex will be ended. The tech bros will be reduced, and the political mafia will be thrown into prison.

I do not think this is the future that Paul Graham had in mind. But I also doubt he was ever thinking about humanity.

September 8th 2026 A formula for authoritarianism A formula for authoritarianism You have to think you are better, smarter and more capable than anyone else. The strong man. Or, only you can do this. Or, you want it your way, and screw everyone else. You have to love dominating power. You need to be in control. And you like being right. I like to feel I am in control. I like to be right. I claim these likes, not because I want to be an authoritarian. But because I know, if I leave myself...

September 7th 2026 Bone health, not breaking Bone health, not breaking My health and vitality have always been a priority. I thrive on hard physical exercise. The type that leaves you sweaty, out of breath, and pushed to your physical limit. Not only does hard physical exercise make me happy, but it is also an anger and stress release, and goodness knows, I have to find a healthy way to discharge anger. A long time ago, I told myself the truth. If I did not do my exercise the very first thing...

September 4th 2026 Not strategy Not strategy Go here, do this. Nice. Neat. Linear. It never works. Nature does zigzag. Linear doesn’t exist. We all know this when implementing a strategy. Take the first step, and we need to change the strategy. Leaders spend an enormous amount of time creating the strategy, then having their people execute it. They rarely ask what their people might need to complete the strategy. How they might need to feel in order to do it well. What kind of support is...
