Buying entry to the castleBuying entry to the castle I have come to regard the Nobel Peace Prize as stupid tokenism. When the recent winner gave her prize to Donald Trump, it was clear she was seeking to fawn her way into power in Venezuela. Selling our souls. Another form of prostitution. (With no disrespect to the working prostitutes of the world, who know exactly who they are and what they are doing, and therefore are far more honest than the countless examples of soul-selling prostitution we observe in the geopolitical class every day.) Fawning up to a bully is always a short-term ploy that ends badly. Europeans are only now recognising international law as meaningful. In their minds, international law only applies to Greenland. It has not applied to Israel. It doesn’t seem to apply to Venezuela. Clearly not to Syria. Or Saudi Arabia. The hypocrisy is staggering. Nate Bear wrote. It took a mobster for us to see the mob rule we’ve always lived by. That mob rule is white imperialism. International Law only applies when white imperialism is threatened. But those other lesser countries filled with black and brown people, or non- Christian religions – there are no international laws or rules. Only Empire and its whims. I watch as leaders prostitute themselves to the mobster. I will extend a small window for geopoliting smartly against a bloated bully, for being a better chess player than the bully mobster. But if it is simply to get the keys to the castle, then I have no respect. When we sell our souls, we sell dignity and respect. A leader without dignity or respect must become a tyrant or lose their leadership. We are seeing the political and journalist prostitutes for who they are. Syntropic World - a new operating system for changemakers with a reverence for all life
January 20th 2026 To restore integrity to humanity To restore integrity to humanity First published April 29th 2012 Mark Nepo’s “The Book of Awakening” landed in my lap perfectly timed. Today’s read, which I did before arising, hit my heart with the force of beauty and truth that left me gasping. I had to re-read the opening lines multiple times, mostly because my brain/heart/mind froze with a simultaneous deep recognition and an implosion of beauty. In the end, it is not enough to think that...
January 19th 2026 A worthy reminder in all cases of change A worthy reminder in all cases of change My body has changed shape in the last year. I am not enjoying it. I have grown boobs I am not used to, and a tummy I loathe. I have also increased my strength through heavy lifting, which I like. Trying to figure out how to adapt things to work in a post menopausal world is not easy. Different everything. Different eating, exercise, and sleep patterns. The desire to stay strong, agile, fit and...
January 18th 2026 All truth is partial All truth is partial I was in a conversation with my partner, Tony, this morning about righteousness. I will define righteousness as an absolute. This is right. No other perspective, idea, opinion or worldview exists. It is, by definition, a closed mindset. It is the house of fundamentalism. And that is both the paradox and the performative contradiction. Righteousness squeezes out optionality, and zero optionality squeezes out humility. One cannot adopt...
